Tools & Storage Terms

These terms apply to Rafz Tools and storage services on rafzvisuals.com. They are part of our Terms of Service. A registered account is required to use the tools.

1. The Tools

  • Rafz Cloud: personal file storage in monthly plans.
  • Rafz Vault: encrypted storage protected by your own PIN.
  • Backup Center: backups and restore points of your content on the Site.
  • Rafz Transfer: send files by link or e-mail, with expiry, download limits and optional password.
  • QR codes and short links: create static and dynamic QR codes and short links (rafz.cc), with click statistics.
  • Create and design tools: CV builder, invoice, contract, certificate, business card, copywriting, content, video, PDF, image, watermark, palette, social resize and favicon tools, plus My Lab.

Tools, limits, free quotas and prices can change. The current prices and limits are shown inside each tool.

2. Plans, Billing and RC

  • Storage plans are paid monthly with RC. The first charge happens when you activate, and a 30-day billing cycle starts from that moment.
  • Rafz Cloud has fixed size tiers. For sizes above the largest tier, you can ask us for a custom quote.
  • Rafz Vault is a separate plan with its own size tiers and its own 30-day billing cycle. Backup Center is an option on top of an active Cloud plan.
  • Cloud and its Backup Center option renew together as one charge from your RC balance. Vault renews on its own cycle.
  • Other tools may include a free quota and then charge RC per use. The price is shown before you confirm.
  • Plan changes: when you add something in the middle of a cycle you pay for it right away. When you switch something off, it stops at once and is not refunded for the unused part of the cycle.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel a plan at any time in the tool. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and the RC already charged for the current period is not refunded. You can undo the cancellation before that period ends.

4. If Your RC Balance Is Not Enough

  1. About 2 days before a renewal, if your balance is too low, we send a warning e-mail.
  2. If the renewal still fails, that plan enters a 30-day read-only grace period. For Rafz Cloud you can browse your files, but uploading, changing and downloading are blocked, and Backup Center is paused with it. A Vault plan in grace is locked until it is renewed.
  3. You can reactivate at any time during the grace period by topping up RC and renewing. Your files and your Vault PIN and recovery code keep working.
  4. If you do not reactivate within the 30 days, your files and data in that service are permanently deleted, and we send you a final e-mail.

The same 30-day period applies after a plan ends for any other reason, and then deletion follows. Please download what you need before your plan ends.

5. Rafz Vault: Your PIN and Recovery Code

  • Vault files are encrypted so that we cannot read them. The keys are protected by your PIN and a recovery code shown once when you activate or reset.
  • If you lose both your PIN and your recovery code, your files cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. There is no back door.
  • You are responsible for keeping the PIN and recovery code safe and private. Activating Vault requires you to confirm you understand this.

6. Rafz Transfer

  • Link transfers can be encrypted in your browser before upload. The key is part of the link after the # sign and is never sent to our servers. Anyone who has the full link can open the files, so share links carefully. A password adds another layer.
  • Transfers expire at the time you choose and are deleted afterwards. A download limit stops further downloads once reached.
  • When you send by e-mail you must only enter addresses of people who expect your message. No spam, no bulk unsolicited mailing.
  • You are responsible for the files you send and for who receives them.

7. QR Codes and Short Links

  • Dynamic QR codes and short links work through our servers. They keep working while your account is in good standing and the item is active. If you delete it, or if it is removed for breaking the rules, the link stops working.
  • Static QR codes contain their data directly and keep working by themselves, but we cannot change or remove them.
  • We record basic click statistics for your links (such as time and the referring website) to show you reports.
  • Do not use short links or QR codes to hide or point to phishing, malware, scams, illegal or abusive content. We may disable such links without notice.

8. Generated Documents and Your Responsibility

CVs, invoices, contracts, certificates and other documents made with our tools are based on the text you enter. They are templates and tools, not legal, tax or financial advice. Check them before you use or sign them. We are not responsible for the way you use them.

9. Your Content

  • You keep ownership of everything you upload or create.
  • You give us only the permission needed to store it, process it for the tool you use, and deliver it to you and to people you choose.
  • You must have the rights to the files you upload and follow the Content Policy. Illegal content, malware, and material that sexually depicts minors are never allowed.
  • We do not routinely look inside your files. In Vault we technically cannot. For other services we may access content only when needed to run the service, to investigate a report, or if required by law.

10. Fair Use and Limits

Storage, file sizes, quotas and request limits apply as shown in each tool. We may limit or suspend use that harms the service or other users, such as automated mass uploads, resale of storage, or trying to bypass quotas and payments. Storage is not a place to host public websites or to distribute files to the public at scale.

11. Backups, Availability and Data Safety

We take security seriously and use reputable storage infrastructure, but no service is perfectly safe. Keep your own copy of important files. Backup Center helps but is not a promise that data can always be restored. We are not liable for data loss except where required by law.
